Our Story
In our quest to eat healthy greens and veggies during the pandemic, had us start off with a fairly decent set-up of hydroponic farming on our small terrace. We were intrigued with the idea of soilless farming and also the fact that only 20% of water was being used in this method of farming compared to the other conventional methods of farming thus saving precious water. We were amazed at the quality, freshness and taste of the greens / veggies that was harvested and also started sharing our produce with our neighborhood and friends who became our regular customers. For those of you who don't know "Hydroponics", it is a technic of growing leafy greens and veggies making use of nutrient rich water which is recycled. Since the crops are grown in a well structured and maintained poly house (greenhouse), external factors like temperature / rains / pests are controlled and hence the outcome is a natural, fresh and non-contaminated produce of greens and veggies which is very tasty and healthy. We piloted this for almost a year and and then graduated to our commercial farm "Mayim Greens" ("Mayim" means "water" in Hebrew).
We also sell produce sourced from the local farming community which is completely fresh since we truly believe in delivering natural, tasty produce to our end customers. We "EAT WHAT WE GROW & SELL"
